Parish schedule May and June 2024

 

Office Hours during the month of May will be on Tuesdays from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm. If this day is not convenient, then please contact Fr. Nichalas if you would like an appointment on another day. (frnichalas@gmail.com, or 641-530-1253). Office hours during the months of June, July, and August will be by appointment.

 FELLOWSHIP HOUR SIGN UP SHEET: Please remember to sign up to offer one item for fellowship on Sundays following the Divine Liturgy. A signup sheet will be available downstairs in the parish hall. There will be no fellowship hour on Sunday, May 26th

Sunday school Children ages 5 to 12 will proceed to the Sunday school room following the reception of Holy Communion. There will be no Sunday school on Sunday, April 28^th or May 12^th, so that the children may participate in the processions. Children’s Activity following Agape Vespers on Pascha Sunday, May 5^th starting at 2:00 pm. The last Sunday school session will be on May, 26^th. Sunday School will resume in the Fall

Parish Book Study Our parish book study will stop for the summer. It will resume in the Fall.  

Parish Bible Study Our parish Bible Study will resume on Thursday, May 16^th, at 6:00 pm. It will continue until Thursday, June 6^th. We will continue exploring the “Person of Christ” through an analysis of His name and titles. This program was offered for our use through the gracious support of the Metropolis of Chicago.

There is No Fasting of any kind from Sunday, May 5^th until Wednesday May 15^th.
