We will celebrate our parish’s feast day this year on Monday, August 5th, with Great Vespers at 6:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 6th, with the Divine Liturgy at 9:00 am.

The fasting period in memory of the Mother of God on the occasion of her Falling Asleep takes place each year from August 1st until August 14th. Fish is allowed on August 6th.

There will be an End-of-Summer Youth Gathering on August 17th for ages 5 and above. More information will be provided to the parents.

Sunday school children ages 5 to 12 will proceed to the Sunday school room following the reception of Holy Communion. Sunday School will start on Sunday, September 29th.

Our parish will once again participate in the NIDAT Ethnic Lunch on Friday, September 20th. This is an opportunity for us to use our skills to benefit the community and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are able to help, please contact Presvytera Evangelia at 641-530-5324.  Last year we provided over $1200 to the Northern Lights Alliance for the Homeless Shelters.
